Midland City Elementary School is currently made up of three main buildings.  Phase I, the oldest of the three buildings, was constructed in 1977.  First and second grade classes are located in this building along with the library, computer lab, a speech class and a teachers' workroom. Phase II is the second oldest and was constructed in 1978.  A music class, a gifted class and all third and fourth grade classes are located in this building.  The office, guidance, nurse's station, and a special needs class is located in this building along with the lunchroom.  Phase III was constructed in 2000.  The newest addition houses kindergarten classes, a physical education class and a conference room.
